Program Summary: Young Outdoor Leaders is a four year youth leadership program that invites and nurtures the outdoor leaders of tomorrow. The program was designed with broad input from Live Oak residents regarding both activities and logistics, as gathered by County Park Friends and Live Oak Cradle to Career through outreach sessions in community parks. Program focuses on 34 core youth, leading to career-based certification, internships and mentorships for participants. The program works through these youth to serve 5000+ community members over 3 years (2022-2025).
