No, County Park Friends is a 501C3 non-profit, 
fully separate from County Parks Department.
We work in close partnership with our public partner
to increase impact towards aligned goals. 

Q. What am I supporting?
General Support: Scholarships, community activation, leadership development and volunteerism in our parks
Jade Street Park Playground: Donate to build a new universally accessible playground

Q. What is Friends all about? 
We work to activate our County Parks.
We work in two complimentary tracks:  
1. Investing in PLACES & 2. Investing in PEOPLE
    
Q. How do I claim on my taxes?
Once you complete sign-up, you will receive an immediate email with all the details.
The email will also serve as your record of tax deductible donation.

Q. Can I donate by mailing a check, rather than online?
Yes! Checks should be made out to "County Park Friends"
