Help design the new Park at Whiting Road!
Access to public parks, beaches and public spaces is important for all. We are happy to announce a new park project in the Pajaro Valley. The Santa Cruz County Parks, Open Space, & Cultural Services Department recently acquired the parcel located at 188 Whiting Road in Watsonville, CA. This parcel is currently under Agricultural Zoning, which regulates its uses. While the Parks Department undertakes the proper planning process to determine the most suitable long-term uses for the site, please help the Parks Department identify some temporary recreational uses for the newly acquired parcel by responding to the following survey questions.

Santa Cruz County’s Environment
The Santa Cruz County Residents for Clean Water, Fire Safety, and Climate Resilience sponsored by Environmental and Community Organizations is a privately funded group of community volunteers dedicated to safeguarding Santa Cruz County’s water resources and preventing wildfires. We are focused on supporting the Water & Wildfire Protection Act, which aims to enhance water security and wildfire prevention across the county.
Making the local inequity worse, our entire parks system in Santa Cruz County is woefully underfunded
