Go Go Polo - Bathrooms COMPLETE!
Submitted by LION Krista Brassfield of Cabrillo Host Lions:
Many years ago, I saw people building a pathway in the Polo Grounds, a Santa Cruz County Park. They were doing a tremendous job so I decided to ask them for their company information. They told me they were with the 'Lions' and invited me to a picnic in the Aptos Village Park, another Santa Cruz County Park where I learned that they were volunteers; "helpers" in our community!
They had built a building in the Aptos Village Park and donated it to the County of Santa Cruz for use as the Cabrillo Lions Clubhouse during the 1970's and it serves today as a Community Center. I also learned the Cabrillo Lions had ongoing projects in Santa Cruz County Parks. They asked me to join the club to make a difference in our local community and since then, with the help of Lions, local Contractors, NHS, donations, and community leaders, the Cabrillo Lions Club helped to build another Park Building in the Polo Grounds County Park.

Please join the LIONs to learn what our next Santa Cruz County Parks Project is and how you can make a difference. https://e-clubhouse.org/sites/cabrillohost/
