Ways to Give: ⤵️
Friends is an independent 501c3 nonprofit, proudly partnering with land managers, raising private support so everyone can access safe, vibrant parks, trails, and nature programs.
Planned Giving: ⤵️
Parks will live on for generations, and we will be there to care for them as long as funding allows. One of the most powerful ways to leave a lasting legacy is to include County Park Friends in your will or living trust. A bequest can be a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or a residual gift after other bequests are fulfilled. Language may include, "I give and bequeath the sum of $[amount or percentage] to Friends of Santa Cruz County Parks DBA County Park Friends, a nonprofit corporation located at 870 17th Ave STE 2 Santa Cruz, CA 95062, with Tax ID/EIN 77-0209249, to be used for its general charitable purposes." If you have questions about adding County Park Friends to your estate planning or would like to notify us about a planned gift, please contact: [email protected].
Our Mission is to preserve, protect, improve and promote the use of Santa Cruz County parks and open spaces for
recreational activities, arts and cultural activities to benefit all generations in our diverse community
