Q. Is Friends part of the Parks Department? 
No, County Park Friends is a 501C3 non-profit, 
fully separate from County Parks Department.
We work in close partnership with our public partner
to increase impact towards aligned goals. 


Q. What am I supporting?
Park upgrades, scholarships, community activation, leadership development and volunteerism in our parks.

Q. What is Friends all about? 
We work to activate our County Parks.
We work in two complimentary tracks:  
1. Investing in PLACES
 & 2. Investing in PEOPLE
    
Q. How do I claim on my taxes?
Once you complete sign-up, you will receive an immediate email with all the details.
The email will also serve as your record of tax deductible donation.


Q. Can I donate by mailing a check, rather than online?
Yes! Checks should be made out to "County Park Friends"
