Aniko has embodied equity and inclusion throughout her career, touching countless lives as a mentor, colleague, park ranger, interpreter, teacher, and friend.
Anyone who knows her can attest to her authenticity, passion, and unwavering commitment to this mission. She raised her two beautiful daughters in Santa Cruz County, retired from her career at Santa Clara County Parks in 2019 and jumped right into new work with the nonprofit Santa Cruz County Park Friends, building and strengthening the organization over its first five years.
